The Office of Strategic Planning and Development Impact Measurement is responsible for implementing the Development Impact Assessment System, an instrument through which CABEI aims to ensure that the operations it finances are aligned with a structured framework that facilitates evaluability and enables the measurement of development outcomes, including the institution’s contribution to poverty reduction and sustainable growthin each member country. In practical terms, this system ensures proper traceability of the intended results chain by applying the CABEI Development Impact Index (referred to as I-CABEI) to projects, programs, and financial intermediation operations.
