The Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI) hereby informs, that in light of the events that have taken place in the Republic of Honduras, all the necessary contingency measures have been established, thus guaranteeing the normal flow of transactions and operations in its headquarters, as well as its regional offices located in each of the Central American countries. These measures allow CABEI to execute all transactions required in the normal course of its business, along with the services necessary to carry out regular banking operations in compliance with its objectives.
The Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI) is an international juridical person which exercises its functions in accordance with its Constitutive Agreement and regulations. In this respect, CABEI holds a series of immunities, exemptions and privileges, expressly recognized by its member states, that guarantee the fulfillment of its objective and the sovereign immunity of its personnel, its property, its income and other assets, as well as its operations and transactions executed in accordance with its Constitutive Agreement. |
