This Project will contribute to the economic development of the population from the Municipality of Intipucá, Department of La Unión, Republic of El Salvador, through the direct benefit of 713 of its inhabitants.
This Project was made possible thanks to the Central American Border Zone Development Program (executed by the European Union (UE) and the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI), and the Mayorship of Intipucá.
The European Union, represented by Mr. Wouter Wilton and the Central American Bank for Economic Integration, represented by Mr. Ricardo Francisco Mora will inaugurate the Project “Cobblestone Pavement of Streets in El Evangélico, Ramirez and El Bartolo Villages”, at the municipality of Intipucá, Department of La Unión, El Salvador on November 20, 2008
The Project has a total investment of US$196,228.00 and was completed thanks to the economic support of the EU and CABEI with the contribution of US$114,999.00 and the Mayorship of Intipucá with US$81,229.00.
The execution of the project came as a request submitted by the Mayorship of Intipucá, in view of the need for road infrastructure to improve commercial activities and contribute to economic growth in their population.
The construction of the road is of a distance of 1.65 kilometers, thus contributing to the marketing of products produced in the Municipality, savings for the benefiting population, improvement in the hygienic conditions of the people that live near to the road and a reduction in accidents. |
