CABEI donates computer equipment to Misquito Students

CABEI donates computer equipment to the Organization of Miskito Students (O.E.M., in Spanish) residing in Tegucigalpa.

Tegucigalpa, Honduras: Besides the social responsibility actions, inherent to its Development Bank nature, the Central American Bank for Economic Integration, shows its commitment with the education of the most needed, by donating computer tools to Miskito students that reside in Tegucigalpa, and come from the municipalities of Puerto Lempira, Brus Laguna, Ahuas and Wampusirpe, among others.
With this donation, CABEI is contributing to improve the education of the 100 members this organization currently has.

O.E.M. is an organization formed by Miskito students of all academic levels, ranging from secondary school to higher education. Created in January 2008, the organization currently has about 100 members, which are all direct beneficiaries of CABEI’s support.
