A loan for the sum of one hundred forty million U.S. dollars (US$140,000,000.00) to the Costa Rican Electrical Institute (ICE, Spanish acronym). The loan funds will be used by the borrower exclusively to partially finance the execution of the project, “Expansion of the Cachí Hydroelectric Power Plant,” located in the Province of Cartago, Costa Rica, with a generating capacity of 160 MW, pursuant to the global investment plan approved by the Bank.
